I attended 2-day Data Center Dynamics event in Silicon Valley. Some really interesting panels talked about urgent Climate Tech / Energy Tech / Water Tech needs for their industry. From what I saw, it seems that new tech companies aiming to solve the massive consumption of electricity & water by data centers could be a very interesting play. Additionaly, is anybody doing a “carbon tech” focus? I include it under the Climate Tech umbrella and am scouting some companies now for possible seed investments.

Will be exploring sustainability applications, so under a broad context that would be a yes. Also have one case I’m also following on energy; generation-distribution-maintenance more efficient operations lower print.
