Adding files to email It would be helpful if this panel on the email screen would allow you to drill down and select a specific file to link into an email. At the moment, it just provides a link to the top level folder.
. I think the "File-first" (rather than folder) approach is way most people think when sharing data rooms in Hub, and we should reflect that better. Something I've been kicking around in my head is the idea of some way to start the email sending process from the file page itself, since that's where people often go to copy the link url. Just sharing a potential preview of a direction we go. Either way, appreciate the feedback on this!
I'd have to think about that more. When I draft an email, I'm usually focused on the content, story I want to tell, then I'll plug in a link to a file when it makes sense. I personally wouldn't start at the file first when crafting an email.
