My connection is the mentor-in-residence for gBETA Anchorage, which is an accelerator for early-stage, scalable companies in Alaska. They are looking to connect with VC and angels on the west coast who are looking for additional deal flow and are interested in talking to founders in the great state of Alaska. They are nearing the end of the 3rd cohort of gBETA Anchorage and would love for members of this group to participate in their investor swarm.
Everyone in this group is welcome to join, even if you are not actively deploying capital. (feedback, advice, & connections welcome)
They will be hosting investor office hours from April 4 to April 8 via Zoom. Each investor will have the opportunity to meet with five companies for 15 minutes each (5 min pitch + 10 min Q&A), for a total of 1.5 hours. The startups in this cohort are excellent and I think you'll enjoy meeting the founders.
Two requests:
1.) Please review the company overviews prior to your office hours.
2.) Fill out this form to specify the best day and time that works for you. You will then receive a calendar invite. Please accept it so it is blocked off on your calendar.
