Asks how Decile SPV (FreePV) works, ERA complexity, and service providers.

Community Member

Hi, I was looking at Decile SPV (FreePV) and curious how it works

=> I'm planning to run few SPVs from CA and learnt about ERA, does anyone know if its complex or easy to do it as a process ? Also, any service who can do it efficiently for a decent price ?

Hey! Great questions. Here's what I can share:

FreePV (Decile SPV)
Decile's FreePV offering includes:
- Free SPV formation
- Free fund administration for the first 12 months
- Free investor onboarding and KYC
- Free LP reporting
- Free access to Decile Hub
- No per-LP surcharges or upsells for multiple closings

For context, traditional SPV platforms like AngelList ($8K-$10K), Allocations ($9,950-$19,500), and Sydecar ($4,500-$12,500) can get expensive fast, so FreePV is designed to remove those barriers.

Regarding ERA (Exempt Reporting Adviser) from CA
I don't have reliable enough information on the ERA process complexity or specific service providers to give you a clear answer on that part. I'd recommend:
- Posting a more specific question here in Hub Support so someone with direct ERA experience can weigh in
- Reaching out to the Decile team directly to discuss your CA-based SPV plans, as they may be able to point you in the right direction

To learn more about FreePV, you can fill out their form at decilegroup.com/articles/freepv-offer and the team will reach out. They'd likely be a great resource for your ERA question too!
