When I import a founder using the DecileHub chrome plug in he automatically gets added to LP pipeline.

How can I prevent this?

For those already in LP Pipeline how can I remove them from LP Pipeline so they are just associated with their deal?

When you use the Chrome Extension to import somebody to Hub, you get the choice on which pipeline to import into. Some pipelines only allow People to be imported, and some only allow Organizations. So your choice of which pipelines are available depend on whether you choose a Person or Organization.

E.g. in this LinkedIn profile of Adeo, I have the ability to import Adeo or Decile Group. If I choose Adeo, he can go to the LP pipeline, and if I choose Decile Group, it can go to Deals pipeline.

Michel, my answer above is usually accurate... but it seems that we have a bug introduced into the Chrome Extension import recently - the list of pipelines for you to choose from is currently not populating as expected. We are addressing it now.
Travis, even without the bug, shouldn't it ibe possible to import a founder and have him be linked to a deal without him being part of one of the pipelines?

Right now I'm moving them to the recruiting pipeline since we do not use that.

User discovery question here (and appreciate the collaboration on this):

If you are importing these people/orgs into Hub, but don't want to add them to a pipeline, can I ask, what is your plan for them?
Do you plan to add them to a pipeline later? Are they undecided on whether they'll be an investor or just a connector? Does your workflow add them to a pipeline later?

This would help us understand how you're using the tool better.
These are founders.  They are not investors and probably not connectors.

But when you track a deal don't you think you also have to track the key people at the investee and your interactions with them?
Makes total sense, thanks for this context. When adding organizations, we don't do a good job of importing the founder along with the organization, which would help solve this. Also I hear you on the desire to import just without a pipeline, that would be a nice to have for browser extension in general. I've added these as improvements to the chrome extension on our roadmap.
I would prefer a simple founder pipeline since your data is more robust for pipelines.

BTW, all that stuff abut removing a capital account makes no sense to me.  I can move a founder from LP to Recruitment pipeline.  Not clear why I cannot remove his pipeline.

Yeah, the auto-answer from the AI was really bad. I deleted it.
