Great question! Decile Hub works best with Gmail 2-way sync enabled. This allows Hub to:
- Sync incoming replies from LPs/prospects back into Hub
- Track communication history automatically
- Show email activity in your fundraising pipelines
Gmail send alone isn't sufficient for the full experience. You can enable Gmail sync under your profile photo > Integrations in Hub. Note that Gmail sync is a premium feature, so it requires a paid Hub account.

You can enable just sending if you want, but as the auto-reply stated, having Hub able to read as well does provide a more complete picture. If you're uncomfortable with that, just ensure you don't check the read permission when going through the Gmail authentication flow while connecting your Gmail account to Hub.
