Hi. I'm wanting to import my 1,000 people and then hundreds of companies into Decile hub but feel like I'm stuck as I want to incorporate tasks associated with them and notes that I've taken. I understand how to import in general but feel like there are 2 issues I'm running into - one is getting the tasks/notes associated with the individual incorporated into the record in Decile Hub (including attributes like whether they're a prospective LP) and the other is tying people/companies together. I have the CSVs for people and companies and then a separate CSV for notes and another one for tasks (including the date due). Any thoughts on how to get this transferred?

Hi! Great question, and happy to help clarify what's currently possible.
Here's what we know based on your two concerns:
Notes and Tasks
Unfortunately, notes are not imported via CSV at this time. You would need to add those manually after import. Tasks do exist within Hub (you can assign tasks with due dates to contacts), but importing them from an external CSV is not a supported feature currently.
Linking People to Companies
When importing via CSV, you can import your people and companies separately using the Import/Export button in your pipeline or the People Directory. To tie them together, make sure your CSV data includes a field that connects a person to their associated organization, and ensure your column headers match the fields available in Hub.
A few tips:
- Test with a small sample first before importing all 1,000 contacts
- Existing contacts with the same email will be updated rather than duplicated
- For LP prospects specifically, you can tag or categorize them within the pipeline after import
Given the limitations around notes and tasks, I'd recommend reaching out directly to the Decile Hub support team to discuss your specific use case. There may be workarounds or upcoming features that could help, and this is also valuable feedback for the product team to hear.

so notes and tasks aren't supported in the transferring in. got it. Linking people to companies - what is the key field that I need to make sure is consistent in the CSV to make sure they're tied together? Name of the organization? URL of organization? Something else?

Notes should be importable, tasks are not.
To be tied together, you'll need to denormalize the information on the csv, such that you have the rows
person 1 - company 1
person 2 - company 1
person 3 - company 2
