When users register for an event, they are provided with "add to calendar" links in the registration confirmation email. Additionally, immediately after registering, they are shown iCal, Outlook, and Google Calendar (gCal) links. This allows them to easily add the event to their calendars.

If I put the link back to the registration page in the email, will the details show up for the registrants to download it to their calendar?
The page needs to recognize they are already registered for this happen. If it does not, it will only cause more frustration for them.

We set a cookie when somebody registers, so unless they've cleared their
cookies, the event page should show the event details and calendar widgets.
