I tried uploading our new logo, which caused this error: So then I opened a new tab and went back to Settings (in order to re-try), but then I get the same error -- even though I have NOT even gotten to the step to upload my logo. I've now tried this 5 times, and keep getting the same result: I cannot even OPEN Settings or FIRM Settings without getting this same error.
I've just unattached that logo from your account. I'm hoping this was due to a blip in the upload system. Will you please confirm you can view the settings page and can retry uploading?
If that doesn't work, I can take a look into the logo file you are using, and look at that for any irregularities.
I’m guessing – was the problem that the logo file is too big? (432 KB) If so, I have a 39 KB version. Both are PNG – is that OK?
Otherwise, I have a JPEG that is 212 KB.
LMK which I should use. (In future, Hub should probably list guidelines at the Upload point. All it says is ‘square is best,’ 120 pixels – but how does anyone know how many pixels are in one of these files??)
I'm not sure what occurred, I think there was a network error when handling the upload. Those file sizes should all be totally fine. Glad it's working now, we may contact you to double check and test those other versions of the logo.
Darn -- I just tried to upload the same (larger version -- which isn't THAT large) of our logo and got the same error: de835d98-731b-4a1f-a2bc-0fa0320056ed
