Unfollow the channel by clicking the little green star either in the left sidebar or at the top of channel. You only get notifications for channels/posts/replies that you follow. You can also access your notification settings by clicking your avatar in the top right corner and selecting "Notification Settings," which will allow you to turn off in-app/email notifications for different things in Hub 👍
