I have a question on email template variables. I read your support on variables, but I'm confused if the variables that currently appear on the right hand side of the template I'm creating exist yet or not. They don't have square brackets around them, but I'd like to use pre-populated variables, such as prospect first name. However, when I click on a variable to drag it into my template, it just grays out and doesn't do anything. Am I missing something? Are these usable variables if I'm creating a new email template?

Hi, thanks for the attention. I'm still experiencing that issue. Were you able to roll out a fix?

Hi, this is still not working. When I click on a variable to incorporate it into a template, it just grays out and doesn't fill into the template.
Hey Peter, I'm not able to reproduce this on my end. Can you specify which variable and pipeline this occurs on?
It's occurring on Fundraising => LP Emails, all variables. I'm creating a new email template and none of the variables work.
I can reproduce this now, thanks. I'll let you know when we have a fix.
Hey Peter, this is issue is now resolved, I've confirmed in our production servers. Thank you for reporting this issue, we wouldn't have caught it without you flagging it, and now we've got a fix and tests in our code to prevent it in the future.

I'm able to fill in the variables now, but when I try to send a test email, I get the following error: "The email cannot be sent due to missing variable data." I deleted all the variables in the email template I was using and still get the same error. Any thoughts?

I see the guide mentioned there is email automation link can be applied with variables/ files. However, all the variable does not have email automation except files. Also there is no PACT url in variables. I need to automate the next step after the prospects clicking the PACT url or submitting the PACT. Thanks
Our email automation functionality is fully back in action for variables. Now, you can automate actions like shifting prospects to different stages based on their interaction with the email, such as clicking on a link.
For your convenience, the PACT URL is available in the variables section and is fully functional. However, we recommend using the existing PACT email template labeled 5.1. PACT: Send (v1), which already includes the PACT URL. You don't need to set up email automation specifically for the PACT variable since it's already embedded within the template. In simple terms, when a prospect clicks on the PACT URL and signs it, they will automatically transition from the "Send PACT" stage to the "Closing" stage. Please note that it makes no sense to set up automation for the LP clicking on the PACT link alone. In other words you don't want to move an LP to another stage if they only click on the PACT link, as we want them to sign the PACT before moving them to the next stage.
If you have any further questions or need clarification, let's connect over a Zoom call. Here's my Calendly link:

Can you please clarify the meaning of the variable "Pipeline URL" and what we are supposed to use it for in email templates? Right now for me it is blank. I cannot even find the place to put in a value.
