It works fine normally, but if the browser that opens the link is logged into DecileHub then instead of opening our deck it opens DecileHub's management system - I see this:
No idea what happens if someone logged into a different DecileHub account opens it.
This is annoying when you are testing your emails and may be an issue if we are trying to get somoene with a DecileHub account to be our LP since they would not get to our deck when they click the link.
The issue you're experiencing is due to the way DecileHub handles authentication and session management. When a user is logged into DecileHub, the system prioritizes the logged-in session over the direct link to the data room file. This can indeed be problematic for testing and for recipients who also use DecileHub.
To mitigate this, you can:
1. **Test in Incognito Mode:** When testing your emails, use an incognito or private browsing window. This ensures that no active session interferes with the link.
2. **Communicate with LPs:** Inform potential LPs who might also be DecileHub users to open the link in an incognito window or log out of their DecileHub account before accessing the link.
If this remains a significant issue, consider reaching out to DecileHub support for a more permanent solution or feature request to handle such scenarios better.
I’ve got a fix for half of this that is in review, I expect it to be live tomorrow morning. Others have felt the same way as you, so as of tomorrow any links sent via the “Send Test Email” won’t be personalized for the prospect. After that I’ll be working on a fix such that if you open that link while logged in as the GP, you’ll be redirected to view the file similar to how the LP /prospect will be.
