You need to create a new account for the GP with the correct invitation code that will be sent to you.

Mohammed has an LP account but also a separate account via [a different email] with the 'discover' code but at present he can only see the LP view. Can you please offer some guidance here as to how best the fund admin features?

You likely signed up twice via the Decile Pro (LP view) sign up. The link above will take you through the GP account sign up process, where you will have to specify a firm name, etc.
