I am trying to set up a virtual event on the platform, however the system defaults to an in-person event. Kindly assist

The only difference between in person and virtual is in the location. Just place the Zoom or other virtual link into the virtual location field, and the event will be virtual. Leave the address field blank.

Can confirm, the address field needs to be blank. But the "star" icon makes it confusing, looks like you need both the link and the address.
