“Newsletter” is a stage in both LP and Connector Pipelines. We are using MailChimp to send our actual newsletter and plan to just export emails from both pipelines where we tagged the contact with #newsletter in the tag field. Unless there is a better way? Also, because a contact may be in both Pipelines, is there a way to sync the info as it may get updated from time to time? Or does that have to be done manually?

Unfortunately, there isn't a better way to sync the information for your first question, so it will have to be done manually. However, on a positive note, Hub will likely have a newsletter functionality by the end of 2023 / start of 2024, which is something to look forward to! In the meantime, you can export people to add to MailChimp. Additionally, the Newsletter Stage can be used to store low probability people who you just want to receive the newsletter.
