is there a Decile-Hub user manual somewhere? I searched slack but wasn't able to find it. In particular I'd like to understand how the app's permission model works.

If you need help with Decile Hub, you can use the search function ("Ask a question") in the top middle of your screen to ask any questions about Hub. Regarding the application's permission model, if you're asking how VC Lab uses your contact/opportunity data, you can control that in the Decile Hub section called Settings > Team.
